Google Web Toolkit with Google App Engine
I played with GWT over a year ago, but since then it's been changing, and not only that but Google now has their App Engine which makes it easy to deploy your own apps. You can combine these two tools and use GWT to write a web app and deploy it using Google App Engine. Furthermore, there's Eclipse plug-ins to make this all doable from Eclipse. Crazy cool. This morning, I installed everything in Eclipse, created a simple app with a map, tested in it Eclipse, and deployed it to the web! And even cooler is you can then map it to your own domain using Google Apps.
weekend in seattle
I had an awesome weekend in Seattle. Just returned back to New Haven this morning. Got lots of eating in! Hit up HK Bistro for all-you-can-eat hotpot, Monsoon East, Kisaku, Baguette Box, Boat Street Cafe, and Portage Bay Cafe. Had to get my food fix in Seattle. Nothing in New Haven really interests me. The pizza is good but I don't really eat pizza much so I've been eating in every night and cooking. Any way, it was awesome 
Friday I had a lunch meeting in Bellevue and then headed to Home Depot to look at paint colors for the new house. Found the ones I want! House should be painted by end of the month, then need to do the carpeting. Friday night was Sean and Donny's birthday party at The Ballroom. It was great to see friends and hang out and NOT think about school work for 4 days. I was really kind of stressing out the past several weeks due to a large amount of assignments and exams, so a weekend to get away was just what I needed. Saturday was The Black Party at Columbia Tower, preceded by a black taco party at Taco Bell. Hilarious 
It was funny to see all these people in black suits and dresses in Taco Bell. The Black Party was pretty fun, nice venue of course. Sunday was spent brunching and walking around Seattle.
